November 16, 2019 @ 4:00 pm - 7:00 pm

Every year, Justice Fest is a time to come together as a community to celebrate one another and the work that lies ahead in our journey toward economic and social justice. This year, we mobilize around the theme, “From Poverty to Prosperity” and aspire toward a community where everyone has the wages, economic security, and basic needs to thrive.

Deborah will be speaking on criminal justice reform.

We are thrilled to welcome Fenwick Broyard as this year’s keynote speaker! He is the Director of Lifespan Religious Education for the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Atlanta and he has a long history of community-building in Athens.

We are also excited to honor Lee and Fred Smith, Sr. with the Dr. Ray MacNair Lifetime Achievement Award for their years of dedicated service and consistent leadership in educating and organizing for a future that honors Black history and guarantees economic and racial justice.
